SPECIAL SERVICES and ACADEMIC SUPPORT

Title I Services

Title I is the largest federal program nationwide. Its purpose is to provide language arts and math services to those students in need of academic support. Conn-Area Catholic School has an excellent remedial math and reading specialist to address this need. 

Act 89 Services

Act 89 Services are also available at Conn-Area Catholic School. These services include our speech/language/hearing teacher, guidance counselor and additional math support. All resource personnel specialize in these fields.

Tutoring

Conn-Area Catholic School provides tutoring services at every grade level. These services are available throughout the calendar year and have made a huge impact on the successes of our academically challenged students.

Process of Academic Success

For students requiring extensive support, a PAS will be established based on the testing results of the child. This plan will provide the teachers with the necessary guidance for addressing the child’s academic needs in hopes that the child will experience success.

Extended Care

Conn-Area Catholic School provides an extended care program for working families who need child care after school.  We also provide morning child care for days of two hour delays.  This has been a wonderful solution for parents needing to be at work on time.
